What exactly does Task Genie do?

We provide on-demand back-office, analytics and growth support for businesses. Think of us as extra hands and extra brains when your team is sick, overloaded or just needs specialised skills—without the cost of hiring.

No. While e-commerce is our sweet spot, any B2B company drowning in spreadsheets, admin or marketing tasks can benefit from our services.

Yes. We exclusively contract with businesses (§14 BGB). If you are a consumer, you’re welcome to browse, but we don’t offer direct services to you.

Can you really take over when my employee is on sick or parental leave?
Absolutely. We deploy a trained specialist within 48 hours. They follow your SOPs, work in your tools and hand everything back once your colleague returns—seamless and stress-free.
Product uploads, order & return processing, first-line customer tickets, marketplace feed management, inventory alerts and day-to-day admin your in-house team is too busy to touch.
Our Excel automation, dashboards and forecasting models work for SaaS, agencies, wholesalers—anyone who tracks KPIs. If your reports live in Excel hell, we build you a heaven.

Process

What happens on a discovery call?
A 15-minute video chat to map your pain points, priorities and tech stack. No sales deck—just straight questions so we can propose the right model.
A one-week trial where we complete real tasks (5–10 hours). You gauge output, communication and fit before signing any ongoing contract.
Simply email us. Monthly packs can be increased mid-month and reduced with 14 days’ notice to month-end. Annual plans allow a 20 % swing without fee change.

Pricing & Contracts

Is there a minimum commitment?
For monthly retainers the minimum is one month. Task-blocks start at 10 hours. Cancel anytime with 14 days’ notice.
Invoices go out every 14 days. Pay via SEPA, credit card or PayPal. Statutory late-payment interest applies after the due date.
We notify you when you hit 90 %. Extra hours are billed at the same hourly rate unless you upgrade to the next bundle.

Data & Privacy

Is my data safe if part of your global team?
Yes. All processors sign NDAs and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Access is via VPN, and all data is stored on EU servers.
Absolutely. We collect only necessary data, anonymise IPs in Google Analytics, and honour all data-subject rights within one month.
Under Art 37 GDPR our processing scale does not require a DPO. For privacy questions contact info@taskgenie.de.

Tech & Tools

Which e-commerce platforms do you support?
Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, OTTO, Kaufland, eBay—and custom feeds via API or CSV.
Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau and good old Excel with Power Query, macros and VBA. If it lives in a spreadsheet, we can automate it.
